Abstract
Abstract A vibration isolating device comprises a main vibration-absorbing body provided with a hollow chamber (37) containing a vibration-damping liquid, and a plurality of partition members (18, 12) each provided with a restricted passage (38, 64) to divide the hollow chamber into at least three small liquid chambers (37A, 378, 37C). In this device, one of the partition members (18) is provided with a restricted passage (38) having a sectional area larger than that of the restricted passage (64) formed in the other remaining partition member (12).

A vibration isolating device as claimed in Claim 1, characterized in that the said hollow chamber containing the vibration-damping liquid is divided into three small liquid chambers (37A,37B,37C) by two partition members (18;12), one of the partition members (18) being provided with a first restricted passage having a sufficiently large diameter, and the other partition member (12) being provided with a second restricted passage (64) having a small diameter and a long axial length as compared with the said first restricted passage.

A vibration isolating device as claimed in Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the said first restricted passage (38) satisfies the following relationships: D/D o is not less than 1/3, and L/D 2 is not more than 1/3 in which D is the diameter of the said first restricted passage (38), L is the length of the said first restricted passage and D 0 is the effective diameter of a liquid chamber (37A) located above the said first restricted passage.
