Abstract

Abstract The invention is characterised in that the combination of a set of means to improve insulation is provided, namely a) support linings (38, 39) for the glazing against the flanges (15, 20) filling the voids therebetween, that is to say between the upper edge of a flat element (1) and the top of the flat element which covers the first, b) U-shaped profile covers (45) which clip under the profiles and bear in a leak-tight manner underneath the linings (38, 39) provided in a) and which reserve, under the profiles (4), sufficient space to accommodate therein the bolts for fastening to the joinery, the said linings (38, 39) and the said profile covers (45) being made from an insulating material.
