Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 8
Claim 1
Independent Claim
53 words
A process for applying a metallic hologram to a solid substrate comprising the steps of forming a thin metallic film, replicating a holographic image into said film, applying a liquid adhesive to said holographic image, applying the image and liquid adhesive to a substrate and curing said liquid to cause it to solidify.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
53 words
A process for applying a metallic hologram to a solid substrate comprising the steps of forming a thin metallic film, replicating a holographic image into said film, applying a liquid adhesive to said holographic image, applying the image and liquid adhesive to a substrate and curing said liquid to cause it to solidify.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
27 words
The process of claim 1 wherein the surface of the hologram away from the substrate is covered with a liquid which is cured to form a solid.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
44 words
The process of Claim 1 or claim 2 wherein the thin metallic hologram is weakly adhered to a plastic film and is formed by embossing with a die, the metallized surface of a film having a vacuum deposited metallic layer on the surface thereof.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
41 words
The process of Claim 1 or claim 2 wherein the thin metallic hologram is weakly adhered to a plastic film and is formed by embossing a plastic with a die followed by vacuum depositing a metallic layer onto the embossed film.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
23 words
The process of Claim 1 or claim 2 wherein the metallic hologram is formed by deposition of the metal on a metal die.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim
20 words
A hologram camprising a thin metallic membrane having a reflecting holographic image imposed thereon encapsulated in a transparent plastic member.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim
20 words
A hologram camprising a thin metallic membrane having a reflecting holographic image imposed thereon encapsulated in a transparent plastic member.
