Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 5
Claim 1
Independent Claim
98 words
A device for installing automobile radios, comprising a fixed support box 13 fixed to the automobile front panel by means of four round dogs 21 which can be moved by rotation, by virtue of a rack system, along the toothed edge 18 of respective apertures 15 until they come into contact with the automobile front panel and exert a sufficient pressure thereon, said dogs being operated from the outside simply by means of a hexagonal key inserted into a suitable bore 26 in the centre of the dog, there being also provided facets 25 on their outer edge.
Claim 2
Independent Claim
98 words
A device for installing automobile radios, comprising a fixed support box 13 fixed to the automobile front panel by means of four round dogs 21 which can be moved by rotation, by virtue of a rack system, along the toothed edge 18 of respective apertures 15 until they come into contact with the automobile front panel and exert a sufficient pressure thereon, said dogs being operated from the outside simply by means of a hexagonal key inserted into a suitable bore 26 in the centre of the dog, there being also provided facets 25 on their outer edge.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
34 words
A device as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the apertures 15 are disposed in pairs in such a position that their longitudinal axes form a contained angle of between 10° and 50°.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
28 words
A device as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the edges of the straight portion of the aperture 15 are raised outwards from the fixed support box.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
106 words
A device as claimed in claim 1, further characterised in that in the case of an extractable automobile radio.the casing 2 is provided with a frame 5 comprising a sheet metal element 3, a mobile element 30 and a handle 4 pivoted on the pivot 32 of the element 3, said elements being structured and mutually combined in such a manner that by gripping the extraction handle 4 and moving it into a horizontal position, the locking teeth 35, which are supported by the spring 1, disengage from the corresponding cavities 17 in the fixed support box, thus making it possible to extract the automobile radio.
