Method and device for the operation of a high-voltage direct current transmission system with a bypass in case of failure
Abstract
Abstract Translated from German Ist bei einer Hochspannungsgleichstromübertragung eine Station (z.B. If a station (e.g. rectifier station A) is disturbed during a high-voltage direct current transmission, the normal valve ignitions are blocked and a bypass path, preferably one or more bridge branches of the converter, is ignited (time t, o). As soon as a corresponding current or voltage change occurs at the DC voltage connections of the other station (B) (time t ', o), rectifier operation is started there, in which the HVDC is used as a reactive load to stabilize the other network. If the fault has ended, first (time t 20 ) in station A with deletion of the bypass valves and then also in station B normal operation is resumed. This method allows stable normal operation or bypass operation in both stations without the use of telecontrol signals, in which the HVDC can be regulated quickly to stabilize the networks.
