Abstract

Abstract The process for forming a pattern of conductive lines on the top of a multi-layer ceramic substrate comprises providing a green ceramic substrate embossing a pattern of grooves (13) in the top surface (14) of the green ceramic substrate, sintering the green ceramic substrate to thereby form a multi-layer ceramic substrate, and depositing a conductive material (19) in at least a portion of said embossed pattern of grooves (13).

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim 83 words
Process for forming a pattern of electrically conductive lines on the top of a multi-layer ceramic substrate, characterized by the steps of: providing a green ceramic substrate (10, 10A, 11); embossing a pattern of grooves (13) in the top surface (14) of the green ceramic substrate (10, 10A, 11); sintering the green ceramic substrate (10, 10A, 11) to thereby form a multi-layer ceramic substrate; and depositing a conductive material (19, 20) in at least a portion of said embossed pattern of grooves (13).
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 83 words
Process for forming a pattern of electrically conductive lines on the top of a multi-layer ceramic substrate, characterized by the steps of: providing a green ceramic substrate (10, 10A, 11); embossing a pattern of grooves (13) in the top surface (14) of the green ceramic substrate (10, 10A, 11); sintering the green ceramic substrate (10, 10A, 11) to thereby form a multi-layer ceramic substrate; and depositing a conductive material (19, 20) in at least a portion of said embossed pattern of grooves (13).
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 90 words
Process in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that said depositing comprises the steps of glazing the top of said multi-layer ceramic substrate; wiping a colored substance (16) in at least a portion of said embossed pattern of grooves (13), taking a photograph of the top of said multi-layer ceramic substrate; generating a mask (17) from said photograph; and depositing a conductive material (18, 19, 20) on the top of said multi-layer ceramic substrate in accordance with the pattern of said mask (17) and in said pattern of grooves (13).
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 42 words
Process in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that said depositing comprises the steps of: glazing (15) the top of said multi-layer ceramic substrate; and wiping a conductive material (20) in at least a portion of said embossed pattern of grooves (13).
