Continuous process for making mother capacitors
Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing continuous mother capacitors. For this purpose, we first of all metallize a mother film (2) of large width which is cut into intermediate films (F), each intermediate film (F) then being lined using a laser beam (FD) of the YAG type and then cut into individual films (FI) using a laser beam (FC) of the CO 2 type, the spot of which is close to that of the YAG laser on the intermediate film ( F). After relative offset of the individual films (IF), the said films (FI) are wound on a large wheel so as to produce a set of n mother capacitors (CM). Between two stages (MI) and (MI + 1) of a set of m mother capacitors (CM), is disposed a single interlayer (II giving good stability to the set. The two outer rings of capacitors are cut out after schooping -mothers (CM).
