Power transmission mechanism
Abstract
Abstract The mechanism is notable in that it comprises in a mounting body or casing (1, 2): on the one hand a drive member consisting mainly of a rotor or rotating device (5), and on the other hand a reaction member or device (11), the rotating drive member or device and the reaction member or device each being connected, on the one hand, to an independent braking device (27; 15) and, on the other hand, to one member of the components of a planetary gear train (3; 9), the relative arrangement of the members being such that it makes it possible to achieve two separate transmission ratios, with the possibility of engaging and changing the ratios, the transmission being under load, the mechanism having a neutral position or dead point, and braking means which can be used irrespective of the transmission ratio engaged. <IMAGE>
