Labelled molecules for fluorescence immunoassays and processes and intermediates for their preparation
Abstract
Abstract Translated from German Es werden neue Porphyrinderivate der allgemeinen Formel
There are new porphyrin derivatives of the general formula
in which either R¹ is the group
and R² is the group
or
or R 'is the group
and R² is the group
, where X <- > is a halogen ion, an aryl sulfonate ion, an alkyl sulfonate ion or an alkyl sulfate ion, A (C1-8) alkylene and R³ (C1-4) alkyl, and sulfonic acid salts of compounds of the formula I in which R¹ is the group
, and Processes and intermediates for their preparation are described. Because of their water solubility, the new porphyrin derivatives are suitable as marker molecules for highly sensitive fluorescence immunoassays, particularly for time-resolved fluorescence immunoassays. The coupling of the new porphyrin derivatives to immunologically active materials takes place in a conventional manner, e.g. with a water-soluble carbodiimide derivative.
