Abstract
Abstract Novel alkoxysilyl functional silicones capable of imparting satisfactory lubricity and other properties such as softness to a variety of textile fabrics over an extended period of time under normal usage. The alkoxysilyl functional silicones include at least one functional group of the formula: wherein R is an alkyl or an acyl hydrocarbon radical having from one to four carbon atoms; R, is an alkyl radical of from one to two carbon atoms or a mixture thereof; and w is an interger of from 2 to about 20.
