Abstract
Abstract A silver halide photosensitive material is developed with a developing solution containing an aromatic amine in the presence of a coupler of the general formula: wherein R 1 , R 2 and R 3 each represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent group, and X represents a hydrogen atom or a coupling eliminable group; 46 specific couplers are shown, and four synthesis methods. An aromatic color stabilizer may be present. Magenta color image of high color purity is formed.
