Abstract
Abstract A syringe for storing medication and dispensing predetermined doses has an outer housing (1) in which a cylindrical casing (5) is rotatably mounted. The inner end (6) of the casing (5) constitutes a first piston which is movable axially of the housing to fill a space (17) defined between the end (6) and the closed end of the housing with a predetermined quantity of medication. A second piston (10) is axially movable by way of its rod (11) within a sleeve (9) which extends axially of the cylindrical casing (5). Movement of the second piston (10) relative to the sleeve (9) being arranged to fill the sleeve (9) with a predetermined dose of the medication in the space (17).
