Housing for heat developing elements
Abstract
Abstract In order to design a housing (1) for heat-generating components, especially electronic parts, such as modules, printed circuit boards (2) and suchlike with walls (4), bases (5), and covers (6), formed from at least one extrusion (3), the individual housing parts of which, in the final assembly state, have opposing slot and spring elements (8, 9) engaging in one another, in the region of their edges (7) formed by extrusion, such that the housing (1) is suitable, even in a loose, pre-installed state, for the holding and pushing-in of electronic parts, namely printed circuit boards, the slot and spring elements (8, 9) have an L-, T- or dovetail-shaped cross-section and can be pushed into one another. By this means it is achieved that the profile composite which is merely loosely pushed together already results in an adequately stiff housing and radial falling apart of the housing parts is avoided. <IMAGE>
