Abstract

The ski damping device comprises a mass (5) slidingly mounted on a rod (4) between two elastic suspension elements (6, 7) made of elastically compressible material. The whole is housed in a housing formed by two shells (1, 2) each having a bearing surface (9, 10) between which they clamp the body liable to vibrate, the assembly of which is intended to dampen vibrations. The ski tip is clamped between the bearing surfaces 9 and 10 of the shells 1 and 2 so that part of the height of the device is included in the thickness of the ski.
