Abstract Translated from German Verfahren zur Konditionierung von organischen Pigmenten durch Mahlen in Wasser und in Gegenwart eines Mahlhilfsmittels, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man als Mahlhilfsmittel eine unsubstituierte oder mit Phenyl substituierte aliphatische oder cycloaliphatische 1,2-Dihydroxyverbindung mit 6 bis 30 C-Atomen verwendet. Process for the conditioning of organic pigments by grinding in water and in the presence of a grinding aid, characterized in that an unsubstituted or phenyl-substituted aliphatic or cycloaliphatic 1,2-dihydroxy compound having 6 to 30 carbon atoms is used as the grinding aid. Das Verfahren liefert im hochmolekularen organischen Material gut dispergierbare Pigmente. The process provides pigments that are readily dispersible in the high molecular weight organic material.
