Housing for a radio apparatus
Abstract
The invention relates to a housing for a radio, which is intended for mobile use and should be small and light in structure and easy to service and assemble. For this purpose, the invention provides a housing consisting of a cylindrical housing part (1) which is open on its end faces, with a trough-shaped heat sink (3) as a closure for the front end and a cover (2) as a closure for the rear. The cylindrical housing part (1), which is preferably made of extruded profile, is provided with partitions (4) extending in the longitudinal direction to form chambers with guides (7) for receiving printed circuit boards (5). The interior cavity of the trough-shaped heat sink (3), in which assemblies are arranged, is closed off with a rear wall circuit board (18) which connects the circuit boards (5) to one another and with the assemblies (3) arranged in the heat sink (3). 17) contains the necessary plug-in elements.
