Method and apparatus for adjusting and mounting optical components in optical instruments
Abstract
To adjust and assemble an optical component in an optical device, the optical component is held by an adjustment device that is not part of the device and, after the adjustment process, is connected to the device by a liquid or pasty substance that solidifies with little change in volume. The optical component or its holder and the device are designed such that a positive, non-positive or adhesive connection is formed between them. The adjustment process can be objectified with a spatially resolving receiver; The evaluation of the adjustment image and the execution of the adjustment movements can be carried out by a computer, which can also carry out the entire adjustment process fully automatically. After the optical component has been firmly connected to the device, the adjustment device is removed.
