Uninterrupted power supply
Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to an uninterrupted power supply having a rectifier (G) supplied from a power supply network (N), an intermediate-circuit battery (B) and an inverter (W) which supplies a protected network (NS). The power supply for the control (St) of the uninterrupted power supply is normally effected from the protected network via a supply circuit (II). For initialisation of the uninterrupted power supply, there is provided a further supply circuit (I) which consists of a series circuit of a first switch (S1.1), a resistor (R1) and a Zener diode (Z) connected to the intermediate- circuit battery (B). The voltage across the Zener diode (Z) is used as the supply voltage for the control (St), the Zener diode (Z) and the d.c. output of the supply circuit (II) being connected in parallel via decoupling diodes (D). The switch (S1.1) is switched off automatically as soon as an adequate voltage is present on the protected network (NS) to supply the control (St). The resistor (R1) and the Zener diode (Z) are thus loaded only for a short period. <IMAGE>
