Abstract
Abstract This colored liquid crystal display unit has liquid crystal cells (102), (103), (104), each displaying a different color such as the three primary colors, arranged on a transparent substrate (4) to form a single liquid crystal panel (10), a number of the panels (10) are laterally and longitudinally connected together to form a large screen display structure, the lights transmitted from the back surface are controlled by voltages applied to the electrodes of the cells (102), (103), (104), thereby mixing the three primary colors of light and enabling a large screen display in full color.
