Abstract

Abstract A cordless remote control apparatus has a controlled portion (22-42) adapted to a main body (200) and a control unit (100) cordlessly or wirelessly coupled to the controlled portion (22-42). The control unit (100) contains an instruction transmitter (12-18) for generating an instruction wave (W18). The main body (200) contains a device (30) which is actuated according to the instruction wave (W18) wirelessly transmitted from the control unit (100) to the controlled portion (22-42). The controlled portion (22-42) includes an istruction receiver (22-26) for generating a receiving indication signal (S24) when the Instruction receiver (22) is coupled to the instruction transmitter (18) via the instruction wave (W18), and providing the device (30) with a control command (D26) corresponding to the contents of the instruction wave (W18). The control command (D26) determines the actuation of the device (30). The controlled portion (22-42) further includes a confirmation transmitter (32-42) coupled to the instruction receiver (24, 26) for generating a confirmation wave (W42) for a given period of time after the receiving indication signal (S24) disappears and control command (D26) is generated. The control unit (100) includes a confirmation receiver (52-58) cordlessly or wirelessly coupled to the confirmation transmitter (42) via the confirmation wave (W42) for indicating in accordance with the confirmation wave (W42) the establishment of actuation of the device (30).
