Abstract Translated from German Die Erfindung betrifft eine Bandführungsvorrichtung, Magnetbandkassetten sowie die Bandführungselemente selbst, wobei ein Magnetband mit einem Rückseitenwiderstand und einem Vorderseitenwiderstand in Kontakt mit Führungselementen daran vorbeigeführt wird. Erfindungsgemäß sind die Kontaktteile der Führungselemente der jeweils kontaktierenden Bandseite im Oberflächenwiderstand und/oder in der Ladungsaffinität angepaßt. Danach bestehen die Kontaktteile für die Schichtseite des Magnetbandes aus einem leitenden oder schlecht isolierenden Material und die Kontaktteile für die Folienseite aus einem gut isolierenden Material. In weiterer Ausbildung können die Kontaktteile auch aus nicht gut leitendem Material oder Kunststoff-material mit leitfähigem Zusatzmaterial bestehen. Anwendbar sind die Bandführungsvorrichtungen für alle schnellaufenden Magnetbandsysteme.
