Device for connecting a plastics pipe to a pipe socket
Abstract
Abstract The connection of a pipe socket (1) to a plastic pipe (11) comprises a pipe insert (2) inserted flush with the pipe inner side in the pipe socket (1), which pipe insert (2) has a grooved surface (16) on the outer surface for abutting against the plastic pipe (11). A grooved surface (17) of a sleeve (8) abuts against the outer surface of the plastic pipe (11), which sleeve (8) also engages laterally directly in the pipe insert (2) and has a longitudinal slot. A clamping strap (13) having a bulge is located in a groove-shaped cut-out (12) with side edges (14), the flanks of which bulge can be pressed together against one another for retention of the plastic pipe (11). <IMAGE>
