Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a process for producing preferentially linear alpha -olefins from synthesis gas and to the catalysts for this process. These are matrix catalysts, in which the active component, in particular iron, cobalt, nickel or ruthenium, is bound in an oxidic matrix excess component.
