Case for jewellery
Abstract
Abstract The case has an insert body for at least one watch and one necklace. In known jewellery cases, the necklace is spread around an elevated surface region (drum) of the insert body, whereas the watch is mounted outside the drum. In this case, either one of the two strap parts lies hidden behind the other or the strap is stretched out completely. In both cases, the presentation is unnatural. If the watch lies in an adapted mounting depression in the insert body, different insert bodies must be provided for different watch shapes, which also applies to other jewellery items, such as earrings. These disadvantages are eliminated in the present jewellery case. The drum consists of a frame-shaped hollow web (3b) and a covering plate (4) which is mounted inside the latter in a lowered and self-clamping manner. Arranged on said covering plate is the watch (5) which grips with its strap parts (5a, 5b) below the covering plate 4 in a natural presentation. Due to the lowered mounting of the watch, no appreciable pressure marks result in the lid cushion. If appropriate, only the covering plate needs to be adapted to different shapes of jewellery. <IMAGE>
