Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 7
Claim 1
Independent Claim 137 words
A reagent for assaying hydrogen peroxide represented by formula:. wherein Q is a residue formed by removing one hydrogen atom from an active methylene group or an active methine group containing a coupler (M, Y, C, A) which causes an oxidative coupling reaction with an oxidized product of a hydrogen donor and bound to FI by the active methylene residue or the active methine residue therein through a chemical structure portion represented by one of the following formulae: wherein R' represents an alkyl group and FI represents a coumarine radical of the formula wherein A represents one of the formulae B-1 to B-5 and R 26 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms capable of emitting fluorescence by being separated from Q.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 137 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 29 words
The compound of claim 1 wherein said coupler moiety is selected from the group consisting of a yellow coupler moiety, a magenta coupler moiety and a cyan coupler moiety.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 63 words
The compound of claim 2 wherein said magenta coupler moiety is represented by formula wherein R " represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group, an amino group, a carbonamido group, a ureido group, an alkoxy group, a carboxyl group or a sulfo group; and R 12 represents a hydrogen atom, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group or an alkyl group.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 35 words
The compound of claim 2 wherein said yellow coupler moiety is represented by formula: wherein R, 3 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group or an amino group; and R 14 represents an aryl group.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 140 words
The compound of claim 2 wherein said cyan coupler moiety is one selected from the following formulae: wherein R 16 represents a carbamoyl group, a sulfamoyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group or an aryloxycarbonyl group; R 16 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group, an amino group, a sulfonamido group, a sulfamoyl group or a carbamoyl group; R 17 , R 16 and R 19 each represents a group as defined for R 16 , a halogen atom or an alkoxy group, or R 18 and R 19 are combined to form a heterocyclic ring R 20 and R 21 each represents an alkyl group which may be substituted with a hydroxy group, a cyano group or an acylamino group; and R 22 , R 23 and R 24 each represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group.
Claim 7
Independent Claim 89 words
A method of assaying hydrogen peroxide which comprises reacting a sample liquid containing hydrogen peroxide with a compound according to one of the claims 1-5, a hydrogen donor represented by the formula: wherein a represents a hydroxyl group, an amino group, ―NHR, ―NRR' (wherein Rand R' each represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a hydroxyalkyl group, an acylaminoalkyl group, or R and R' may combine to form a hetero ring) and peroxidase and measuring the intensity of the fluorescence emitted from the fluorescing material formed by the reaction.
