Blood sampling device
Abstract
A blood collection device has a cylindrical collection tube R, a piston (K) which can be moved in an airtight manner therein, a closure cap (5) provided at the front end of the collection tube (R) and carrying an extension (1), and a tubular guide sleeve (0) which can be pushed onto this extension (1) 2) on. At its front end, the guide sleeve (2) carries a double-ended cannula (8) provided on both sides with a cutting edge, the end of which protrudes from the guide sleeve (2) is intended for insertion into a vein, while its rear end is provided by one at its rear end closed thin tube (14) is tightly encased and protrudes so far into the guide sleeve (2) that when the guide sleeve (2) is pushed on it first pierces the rear end of the tube and then a sealing plug (17) in the neck. One or more retaining cams (4) protrude radially from the circumference of the attachment (1) and cooperate with one or more slots (6) provided in the guide sleeve (2) in order to rotate the rear cutting edge (10) of the cannula (8 ) relative to the rubber hose (14) and the sealing plug (17) during the piercing of these components and thus to prevent interference with the selost sealing properties of the same. After the sealing plug (17) has been largely or completely pushed through, the cannula (8) can be rotated relative to the attachment (1), so that the holding cam (s) into lateral extensions (13, 13a, 13b, 13c) of the axial slots (6) occur, whereby a rotary lock is formed and an axial separation of the guide sleeve (2) and the removal tube (R) is avoided. In this position, the resilient properties of the rubber hose (14) secure the rotary lock.
