Integrated current-source generator in CMOS technology
Abstract
The present invention relates to an integrated circuit constituting a current generator. The assembly according to the invention comprises a first pair of homologous transistors (T 1. T ' 1 ), one of which copies the current of the other to a factor, a second pair of homologous transistors (T 2 , T' 2 ) one of which copies the source voltage of the other, a third pair of homologous transistors (T 3 , T ' 3 ), having different threshold voltages unlike the other pairs, a resistor (R 1 ) being placed in series with one of the transistor of the third couple to make up for the difference in threshold voltages, and at least one additional transistor (T ' 1 ) for copying the current into one of the preceding transistors. This produces a current i 1 stable over time, stable in temperature, and independent of the supply voltage of the assembly.
