Apparatus for concrete pumps
Abstract
Abstract In control slides (5) for concrete pumps, there is a problem of sealing the connection point (7) of the pivoting slide, for example at the plate (17) on the pump cylinders, or the connection point to the discharge pipe. Use is made of a ring (8) made of an elastic wear-resistant material which is under the internal pressure in the tubular channel (4) of the control slide (5) and which, since it is under prestress, can compensate changes in length occurring as a result of the wear or elastic deformation and which seals off the connection point. At the connection point (7) to the pump cylinders, use is additionally made of a wearing ring (16) which is pressed by the annular face (10) of the elastic ring (8) by a sliding face (19) onto the plate (17). The wearing ring (16) is mounted especially rotatably, thereby ensuring as uniform a wear as possible. The construction is also capable, as a result of a non-uniform deformation of the ring (8), of compensating changes in angle of the surface of the plate (17). <IMAGE>
