Abstract

Abstract The switch-over tube arrangement for a concrete pump, comprises a pressure line tubes end (I) which swivels (2) between the inlet and outlet orifices (8) of pump cylinders (9). The unit has a wear ring (11) which slides on, and is pressed against a wear plate (7) containing the orifice (8). On the side away from the plate (7), the ring (11) is hydraulically pressurised by an oil or grease chamber (13). This chamber may be connected (14) to a pressure source providing sufficient pressure to produce an adequate seal at the sealing face of the ring. The pressure may be wholly or partly relieved during the swivel movement.
