Abstract
Abstract This disclosure relates to a class of quaternary ammonium compounds. More particularly, this disclosure relates to a class of quaternary ammonium borate compounds and their use as fabric softeners. This disclosure further relates to fabric softening compositions containing such quartenary ammonium borates and to methods of softening textiles employing such compounds and compositions.
