Abstract

Abstract Control units (41, 42, 44, 45) are provided associative with forward and inverse converters (15, 16, and 28, 29) in a multiterminal DC power transmission system, respectively. The control units (41, 42, and 44, 45) set different constant voltages (Edp1 to Edp4) in the converters (15, 16, 28, 29). Further, the minimum value (Edp1) of the constant voltage set values in the forward converters (15, 16) is set at a value larger than the maximum value of the constant voltage set values in the inverse converters (28, 29).

Claim 2
Dependent Claim 99 words
A multiterminal DC power transmission system having a plurality of forward converters (15, 16) and inverse converters (28, 29), in which said forward and inverse converters (15, 16, 28, 29) are respectively provided with control units (41, 42, 44, 45) including constant voltage control means (412, 442), different constant voltages are set in said converters by said constant voltage control means (412, 442) and the minimum value (Edpl) of those constant voltage set values of said forward converters (15, 16) is larger than the maximum value (Edp3) of those constant voltage set values of said inverse converters (28, 29).
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 104 words

Claim 4
Dependent Claim 103 words
A multiterminal DC power transmission system according to claim 1 or 2, in which said control units provided with said inverse converters include each a third constant current control means (446) for controlling so that current (Id3, Id4) does not exceed a first current set value (Idp3, Idp4) for voltage (Ed3, Ed4) higher than the constant voltage set value (Edp3, Edp4), and a fourth constant current control means (447) for controlling so that the current (Id3, Id4) does not fall below a second constant current set value (Idp3', Idp4') for a voltage (Edp3, Edp4) lower than the constant voltage set values (Edp3, Edp4).
