Abstract

Machine set-up with a double belt press for heating, cooling, drying, pre-condensing etc. of thermoplastic and thermoset films with and without a sealing process, in particular for the continuous sealing of documents, which can thereby be made absolutely forgery-proof. The press part, which is designed as a heat seal press, consists of heated inlet rollers (5, 6) with drive rollers (8, 9) and press belts and an intermediate, brush-cooled pressure zone (7), the material feed part consists of supply rollers (1) for the webs or foils, deflection rollers (4) and a vacuum feeder (3) with insert pieces or inlets (2), which is pivotally and displaceably arranged and controlled synchronously with the upper belt of the press, and the post-treatment unit arranged on the outlet side, comprising a punch press (10) with a stacking device (11) and waste strip collector (12) . The temperature of the heated inlet rollers (5, 6) of the heat sealing press is kept at ± 1 degree C by means of thermal oil. The deflecting rollers (4) for the cover foils to be fed are carried by arms (13) rotatably mounted about the axis centers of the inlet rollers (5, 6) and radially upwards or downwards for varying the wrapping surface of the foils or webs on the surfaces of the heated inlet rollers (5, 6) pivotally arranged.
