Displacement control system for a variable displacement pump
Abstract
Abstract A system for load-independent delivery flow control and for controlling the performance of a variable displacement pump by means of a piston/cylinder-type adjusting unit exhibits a volume flow sensor in the form of a built-in valve (12), the rear (15) of which is connected to the pressure behind the built-in valve (12) and the piston of which is supported by a first spring (17) on the casing (8) and via a second spring (16) on a pilot piston (18) which is acted on by a force directed in opposition to the force of the spring (16). The adjusting unit (24) has a piston (38) having two piston areas (39, 40) of unequal size. The pressure between variable displacement pump (1) and a load (5) is connected via a resistance (20) to the larger piston area (39) and the latter is connected via a further resistance (21) to a tank (26), at least one of these resistances being formed by a control edge of the pilot piston (18). The smaller piston area (40) is connected to the pressure in front of the built-in valve (12). <IMAGE>
