Abstract

- Front ski binding stop, comprising a jaw made up of two lateral arms (2) cooperating with the front part of the boot (20), a body rotatably mounted around a pivot (4) fixed to the ski, an elastic device (8,11) immobilizing the arms in the shoe retaining position, and a feeler member (13) in contact with the front part of the shoe to reduce the trigger hardness in the event of a forward fall or axial thrust of the shoe . - The feeler member 13 is rotatably mounted about a transverse axis 14, bears against a transverse spindle 18, and cooperates with sliding rods 16, so that, as well in the event of a rear fall, as in the event of before falling, the shoe rotates the feeler which then causes, via the rods 16 at least a decrease in the force with which the piston 8 is applied against the pivot, and therefore a decrease in the hardness of the mechanism trigger. - The invention makes it possible to reduce the inherent hardness of the trigger mechanism both in backward fall and in forward fall.
