Abstract

Abstract The safety skis binding has a jaw working in conjunction with an end of a ski boot, being connected to a body with a parallel axis running crossways to the ski plane. The body is swivelably mounted on a vertical axis. Two pistons(8) in the body are activated by a common, single spring unit(9), and the jaw(E) has at least one guide surface with which a follower(14) works. When the jaw swivels around the horizontal axis and gains height, one of the pistons lifts away from its contact cam. Likewise, piston movement caused by body(3) swivel around the vertical axis lifts the follower from the guide surface.
