Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for eliminating remanent phenomena in reception systems, in which one or more flux sensors with ferromagnetic properties, preferably with antenna Hall generators, are provided for detecting a field flow originating from a field generator or a change in field flow. According to the invention, flux transducers (I to VIII) are supplied in periodic succession to magnetization pulses, the pulse height and width of which are selected so that the saturation field strength of the flux transducers is achieved. The flux sensors (I to VIII) are preferably controlled by means of pulse-shaped signals, the magnetization pulses being supplied in the pulse interval of these signals in synchronism with the pulse repetition frequency. The method is used in particular in gnathography to record the movement of a person's lower jaw.
