Abstract

Abstract Tc-99m labeled antibody compositions and kits for oreparing them and using them for in vivo diagnostic purposes are provided. Cancer or tumor sites producing hCG or hCG-derivatives are detected by scintigraphy, after administering anti-hCG or anti-hCG derivatives, by administering an antibody composition specific to the anti-hCG or its derivatives, the said antibody composition being tagged with one of the labeling isotopes. To increase sensitivity of detection, extra sites for the labeled composition can be obtained by administering an unlabeled antibody composition specific to the anti-hCG or its derivatives, followed by a second antibody composition specific to the first antibody, the second antibody composition being tagged with one of the labeling isotopes.

Claim 4
Dependent Claim 74 words
A kit for forming a composition useful in identifying cancer cells or malignant tumors in vivo, characterised by a preparation including an antibody other than anti-hCG, anti-hCG-beta or anti-hCG-like material which is reactive with cancer cell or tumor-specific antigen, or an antibody against anti-hCG, anti-hCG-beta or anti-hCG-like material, and reagents including a radiolabeling constituent comprising technetium-99m, for mixing with said antibody to produce an administratable, physiologically-acceptable aqueous solution of said antibody labeled with technetium-99m.
Claim 5

A diagnostic kit for in vivo detection of cancer cells or malignant tumors, characterised by a plurality of antibody preparations for administrating sequentially to a patient, the first antibody preparation for administration being reactive with the cancer cell or tumor-specific antigen, each of the other antibody preparations being reactive with the preparation to be administered before it, and reagents including a radiolabeling constituent comprising technetium-99m for mixing with the last antibody preparation to be administered to produce a physiologically-acceptable aqueous solution of this antibody labeled with technetium-99m.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 87 words
A diagnostic kit for in vivo detection of cancer cells or malignant tumors, characterised by a plurality of antibody preparations for administrating sequentially to a patient, the first antibody preparation for administration being reactive with the cancer cell or tumor-specific antigen, each of the other antibody preparations being reactive with the preparation to be administered before it, and reagents including a radiolabeling constituent comprising technetium-99m for mixing with the last antibody preparation to be administered to produce a physiologically-acceptable aqueous solution of this antibody labeled with technetium-99m.
Claim 7
