Claim 3
Dependent Claim
103 words
The endoscope ocular section according to claim 1, characterised in that said zero diopter defining element comprises a first rotatable cylindrical cam provided with said inclined cam surface; and said ocular diopter adjusting mechanism comprises a second rotatable cylindrical cam which surrounds said first rotatable cylindrical cam, is axially movable and has an inclined cam surface, a diopter adjusting ring which surrounds said second rotatable cylindrical cam and, when rotated, allows for rotation of said second rotatable cylindrical cam, and spring means provided in said mount body for urging said ocular guiding pin against said inclined surface of said second rotatable cylindrical cam.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
60 words
The endoscope ocular section according to claim 2, characterised in that said first rotatable cylindrical cam has a first opening allowing for passage of said ocular guiding pin; the second rotatable cylindrical cam has a second opening similarly allowing for passage of said ocular guiding pin; and said inclined cam surfaces are respectively formed on said first and second openings.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
59 words
The endoscope ocular section according to claim 3, characterised in that said first opening further comprises a circumferentially extending cam surface which is contiguously connected to said inclined cam surface of the first rotatable cylindrical cam at the downstream side of its rotation, and, when contacted by the ocular guiding pin, adjusts said ocular to the zero diopter position.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
97 words
The endoscope ocular section according to claim 4, characterised in that said first rotatable cylindrical cam is provided with an inclined can, said second rotatable cylindrical cam is provided with a circumferentially extending slit, a slit pin passes through said slits of both cylindrical cams at the same time, and said inclined slit is inclined in such a direction as causes said second rotatable cylindrical cam to be axially moved so as to separate said ocular guiding pin from said inclined cam surface of said second rotatable cylindrical cam as said first rotatable cylindrical cam is rotated.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim
51 words
The endoscope ocular section according to claim 5, characterised in that said diopter adjusting ring has an axially extending slit, and said second rotatable cylindrical cam has an projecting engagement section which engages said slit of said diopter adjusting ring and allows the diopter adjusting ring to be moved only axially.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim
194 words
The endoscope ocular section according to claim 1, characterised in that an outer cylindrical housing surrounding the mount body is fixed to the ocular support; and said ocular diopter adjusting mechanism comprises: a hollow cylindrical slider which is provided with an axially extending slit allowing for insertion of said ocular guiding pin and is moved on the mount body in an axially movable state; a first compression coil spring which is set in said slider and normally urges said ocular guiding pin toward that end of said slit of said slider which faces said other end of said mount body; a diopter adjusting pin extending radially outward from said slider; a diopter adjusting cam assembly comprising a cam shaft rotatably mounted on said outer cylindrical casing and an adjusting cam which is fixed to said cam shaft, contacts said diopter adjusting pin and has such a configuration as moves said slider axially via said diopter adjusting pin as said cam shaft is rotated; and a second compression spring which is fitted to said mount body and urges said slider to let it to be pressed against said adjusting cam via said diopter adjusting pin.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim
36 words
The endoscope ocular section according to claim 7, characterised in that said cam shaft is fitted to said outer cylindrical casing to extend radially of said mount body; and the cam is a disc-shaped eccentric cam.
