Abstract Translated from German Der Schaumstoffkern einer Kindermatratze ist durch einen horizontalen Schnitt in zwei deckungsgleiche Teile (1, 2) unterteilt, die von einer gemeinsamen Innenhülle (6) umgeben sind. Das Unterteil (2) ist mit Einbuchtungen (4) versehen, in welche sich je nach Bedarf Versteifungsstäbe (5) aus Schaumstoff einschieben laßen. The foam core of a children's mattress is divided by a horizontal cut into two congruent parts (1, 2), which are surrounded by a common inner cover (6). The lower part (2) is provided with indentations (4) into which stiffening rods (5) made of foam can be inserted as required. Die Obermatratze läßt sich dank ihrer Unterteilung waschen (kurze Trocknungszeit) und den anatomischen Gegebenheiten durch partielle Tragzonenversteifung anpassen. The top mattress can be washed thanks to its subdivision (short drying time) and can be adapted to the anatomical conditions by partially supporting the supporting zone.
