Safety device for attaching a cyclist's shoe to the cycle pedal
Abstract
Two mutually interlocking members, respectively male and female, integrally mounted, one on the pedal and the other on the shoe, are provided with locking means able to be implemented by simple respective movement of the shoe relative to the pedal. According to the invention, this device is characterized in that the male part is in the form of a cylindrical core (4) and is arranged on the pedal (2) and in that the female part consists of a bearing (5) of complementary shape of said core (4) and is arranged in the thickness of the sole (7) of the shoe (1).
