A partir de l'ouverture d'accès à la chambre, on introduit dans le tube de guidage (15) et dans le tube d'eau (2) qui lui fait face l'extremité d'une fausse sonde constituée par un tube (18) en une matière relativement rigide, mais pouvant néanmoins se courber légèrement, muni à ladite extrémité d'un moyen de fixation (19-20) au tube d'eau, commandable à partir de l'autre extrémité du tube, on fixe ladite extrémité au tube d'eau (2), et on desserre les mandrins de l'appareil porte-sonde, de sorte que cet appareil glisse le long du tube (18) de la fausse sonde vers l'ouverture d'accès et peut ainsi être évacué vers l'extérieur.
