Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for suspending an element carried (4) from a carrying element (7), which essentially comprises an elastically deformable support (1) adhered to two frames (2) and (5) so as to define a sealed chamber (8), which chamber contains a fluid and is divided in two by a separating partition formed by an elastic annular part (11) integral with the frame (2) and carrying a block (12) of material representing a certain mass and suspended by the partition (11) which acts as a spring. This device applies for example to the suspension of an engine in a vehicle body and considerably reduces the noise transmitted by vibrations at high frequency.
