Claim 1
Independent Claim
40 words
1) Lightning arrester comprising a non-linear resistor held in an insulator, characterized in that said non-linear resistor (4) and said insulator (1) are formed in one body by covering said non-linear resistor (4) with said insulator (1) without a gap.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
40 words
1) Lightning arrester comprising a non-linear resistor held in an insulator, characterized in that said non-linear resistor (4) and said insulator (1) are formed in one body by covering said non-linear resistor (4) with said insulator (1) without a gap.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
31 words
2) Lightning arrester according to claim 1, characterized in that said non-linear resistor (4) is made of a sintered product comprising a main component of zinc oxide sintered at high temperature.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
31 words
3) Lightning arrester according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that terminal (6) connected to said non-linear resistor (4) is formed on both ends of said insulator (1).
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
37 words
4) Lightning arrester according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that insulator (4) is made of a porcelain which is obtained by sintering at a temperature lower than the sintering temperature for zinc oxide.
