Abstract

The invention relates to a device for developing printing plates with paired, in particular horizontally arranged upper and lower rollers for transporting the printing plates, these rollers optionally also being used to squeeze off residual liquid adhering to the printing plates. Each upper roller (4, 5, 6, 7) has at each end a bearing (8, 9, 10, 11) which can be raised and lowered with respect to the lower roller and which has a toggle lever arrangement (15, 16, 17, 18 ) can be actuated. To attack the bearings (8, 9, 10, 11) of the upper rollers (4, 5, 6, 7) there is a pivotable fork head (e.g. 31) with an upper and a lower arm (33, 34) provided, the pivot axis (32) of which is directed parallel to the printing plate transport direction (T), the upper arm (33) of which, through the toggle lever arrangement (15) with the parts (26, 27, 28, 29, 30), in the lowered state of the bearing (8) presses on the bearing from above and its lower arm (34) supports the bearing in the raised state. A first end of each toggle assembly (15, 16, 17, 18) communicates with the clevis (e.g. 31), and a second end of each toggle assembly (15, 16, 17, 18) is rotatable with a common of all toggle assemblies Switch shaft (19), e.g. B. with the section (20) in connection, the switching shaft (19) is also mounted parallel to the printing plate transport direction (T).
