Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for processing compostable material on a storage area with this movable and moving loading bridge spanning this at a distance, as well as a discharge member arranged on this and pointing to that storage area, which is connected to at least one conveying means leading the material to the discharge member. In known methods, portal racks with a chute projecting downwards like a trunk are used to fill up compost rents, from which the compost falls in some cases in very large lumps and forms individual cones; these create a corrugated rent surface and therefore require expensive smoothing work. These compost rents also have to be moved or ventilated several times during their service life. With conventional ventilation systems, only certain edge zones are ventilated, between which pillars of compacted compost or the like are preserved, which leads to an extremely foul-smelling pile. With the invention, it should be possible to produce well-ventilated rents in the most fully automated manner possible, which, with the volume remaining the same, take up relatively little space and are environmentally friendly. A high degree of efficiency of the system or device is also sought. The solution is achieved in that a thin layer, for example 40 mm high, of composting material is produced from strips adjacent to it with their longitudinal edges and at least one further layer of this type is placed on top of it, where appropriate during the laying of the layer (s) of the composting material by accelerating the composting material Material particles and separation between impact-resistant and low-impact components can be removed. In addition, the composting material is fed as bulk material to a stacking location and deformed there into compacts, which are then immediately stacked at a distance from one another, where appropriate the sewage sludge as sedimentation sludge of more than 80% moisture is mixed with comminuted waste and then pressed at the stacking location. In addition, the compost heap is ventilated by means of blown air, which is blown into the compost heap by means of ventilation lances at least vertically introduced from the surface thereof; At the same time, a system of ventilation ducts or the like is created by the ventilation lances. In the device according to the invention, the bearing surface is provided approximately horizontally by means of a belt-like conveying element which is tensioned and which is inclined or vertically movable approximately parallel to the bearing surface and by means of a lifting element or the like is trained. On the conveyor or loading bridge or its lifting element (s) there is / are a milling or the like loosening device which is at least vertically movable with and / or at least vertically therewith and / or at least one pressing device with movable pressing channels or the like for producing pressed articles , wherein each press channel is designed as a stacking member for the pressed articles or is provided with such an organ. At least one lance-like and possibly variable-length ventilation element is movably attached to the lifting element, which at least partially overlaps the surface of the compost heap, and is connected to an air supply line. At least one suction or suction device is arranged above the compost heap and connected to at least one fan and its outlet end to the ventilation system of at least one rent and / or post-rotting place. In addition, the storage area is preceded by a rotating drum, which has a mixing section for waste and sludge with internals causing the direction of the mixture to be reversed several times, a comminution section in the form of a ball mill with a wall having sieve surfaces, and a jacket which surrounds the sieve surfaces on its outer surface remote from the drum axis.
