Abstract
Abstract Two transceivers are contactlessly coupled together via an e.m. coupling circuit (11). The first device has a constant amplitude oscillator connected to the coupling circuit and a received signal detector (8). The second device has a waveform shaper (14) for signals received from the coupling circuit and a circuit (15) whose load impedance varies with an applied signal's level, enabling detection of the signal. USE/ADVANTAGE - For IC card reader. Reduced number of channels and simple circuitry.
