Flight surveillance device

Abstract

Abstract The invention relates to a flight surveillance device with a computer-controllable screen for displaying the current air situation. The representation of the air situation on a PPI requires improvement especially when flying objects rapidly change their flight altitude in the observed space. For this purpose, an impression of three-dimensional action is conveyed by a perspective representation of the air surveillance space and the position coordinates and altitude information of all flying objects obtained by a locating device, the sight of a fictitious observer being freely selectable. <IMAGE>
