Abstract
Abstract The plank measuring device prints out one of the length dimensions, and has at least one extendable tape measure of the required dimensions. The remaining dimensions are set by hand using a selector, and a printer is connected to the tape measure and/or the selector. A pulse generator is allocated to the extendable tape measure (5) and the selector, which supply to a computer the pulses representing the measured or set dimensions for the volume calculation.
