Abstract
Abstract The method is intended for a mechanism for feeding paper sheets of different sizes to a machine for further processing. The interval determining the sheet sequence is adjusted to correspond with the size of the sheets handled, and is varied in proportion with the running speed of the paper handling machine. The vacuum supply to the sheet suction roller may be sequenced together with the sheet feeding sequence and also varied proportional with the machine running speed. A tacho-generator may be used to charge a capacitor with a voltage proportional to speed, whilst a resistance in the circuit is varied to take account of sheet size.
