Adjustment system for blades of a turbine compressor - with separate adjustment for each row of blade wheels through a crown wheel and gear system
Abstract
Abstract Adjustment system for swirl blades which form part of rows of blades located behind each other of a turbo compressor. The angles of inclination of the blades on the blade wheels of both rows may be differentially adjusted through a common adjustable crown wheel through gear wheel positioned above the blade shafts. The differential adjustment is obtained by the diamter of the gear wheels being different according to patent 24 03 113. The rows of swirl blade wheels (1, 2) are positioned behind each other in the direction of the flow and axial to the direction of the rotor axis. Both rows of swirl blade wheels are adjusted by a separate crown wheel gear each of which may be operated independently or may be operated at a fixed relation to the other.
